Socialist jargon people who want to sound intellectual™ use for “all us oppressed people”.
The concept was introduced into French Law at the turn of the 19th century. Since then it has adopted multiple meanings, but is traditionally a coded dog whistle for extreme trade unionists to assemble in preparation for the Revolution.
