My/Your Truth

Sociology (Humanities)

The limited subjective experience and opinion of teenage girls falsely represented as a form of objective truth and profound worldly wisdom. Useful to an intellectual™ who could easily be proven wrong objectively.

Objective truth is either true or false, can be wrong, and is about things. Subjective truth (opinion) is neither true or false, can’t be wrong, and is about feelings. The concept of there only being “interpretations” rather than discoverable truth is, of course, trendy humanities garbage promoted by Jacques Derrida.
